On Friday, Nov. 15, The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit watchdog focused on patient safety, recognized Saline Memorial Hospital as one of the nation’s top hospitals for patient safety with an “A” grade.
“This national recognition from Leapfrog is a testament to how dedicated our entire team is on delivering safe, compassionate care,” said Jeff Bourgeois, interim CEO.

Saline Memorial Hospital has earned the 2024 Platinum Performance Achievement Award, the highest honor available from the ACC’s NCDR Chest Pain – MI Registry.
Hospitals that participate in the registry report data about all acute myocardial infarctions treated, and the quality of care is tracked based on following the treatment guidelines outlined by the ACC/AHA.
The Beat Goes on 5K is back!
One of the best ways to keep your heart healthy is to stay active, which is why we are proud to bring back the Beat Goes on 5K, which will be held Saturday, April 19, 2025. The race will start and finish at Saline Memorial Hospital and will take you through historical downtown Benton. Registration is $25 for adults and $20 for children with the proceeds benefitting the Arkansas Foodbank. Registration on race day increases to $30.

Saline Health System names new CEO
Saline Memorial Hospital announced today the appointment of Char Boulch as the new chief executive officer (CEO) for Saline Health System, effective February 17. Boulch, who has served as the hospital’s chief nursing officer (CNO) since 2023, brings extensive leadership experience and a deep understanding of the hospital’s operations, staff, and patient needs.
